Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) Admission Guidelines as per Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training

The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training conducts online counselling for admission to Two Year Diploma in Pharmacy in institutions affiliated to the Board and approved by AICTE & PCI. Candidates are advised to read the entire prospectus carefully before online registration.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum educational qualification for admission to Two Year Diploma Course in Pharmacy:

Pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics:

i Intermediate examination in Science
ii The first year of the three-year degree course in Science
iii 10+2 examination (Academic Stream) in Science
iv Pre-degree examination
v Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations

Note: As per PCI decision, candidates who have passed 10+2 from National/State Open Schools are also eligible for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy.

Merit Criteria

Admission shall be made on the basis of relative merit of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in the Qualifying Examination
For reserved seats, the relative merit shall be determined within each category of reservation
Admission to seats reserved for sportsmen/sportswomen category will be made as per Sports Department, Govt. of Punjab/U.T. policy

Original certificates are to be shown at the time of reporting in the allocated institute

General: ₹1,250/- SC/ST: ₹1,000/-

Payment Mode
Registration fee will be accepted through online mode of payment only

Counseling Steps

Step 1: Online Registration

Step 2: Choice Filling

Exercise initial choices of branches and institutes through internet from any convenient location.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

After declaration of 1st counseling result, report to allocated institute for document verification.

Step 4: Fee Payment & Confirmation

Admission confirmed only after online payment of admission fee and verification of original documents.

Step 5: Upgradation (Optional)

Candidates may participate in subsequent counseling for seat upgradation. Previous allotment will be auto-cancelled upon new allotment.

Candidates must bring the following documents at the time of admission (reporting to the institute):

Original Certificates

Qualifying Examination Detail Marks Sheet
Matriculation Certificate (Date of Birth)
Character Certificate from last attended institution
Proof of Residence / Domicile Certificate
Certificate for Reserved Category (if applicable)
Income Certificate (for Fee Waiver / Reserved Category)

Additional Requirements

Attested copies of all above certificates
One recent stamp size photograph

Important: Candidates who fail to produce the requisite documents will not be admitted.
