What Constitutes Sexual Harassment?

As per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, sexual harassment includes any unwelcome behavior of sexual nature. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Physical contact or advances
  • Demand or request for sexual favours
  • Making sexually coloured remarks
  • Showing pornography
  • Any other unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature
  • Stalking or following
  • Cyber harassment or online abuse
  • Eve teasing or catcalling
Protection Under POSH Act, 2013
Written Complaint

File written complaint within 3 months of incident to the Committee

Confidential Inquiry

Inquiry completed within 90 days with complete confidentiality

Fair Action

Appropriate action including disciplinary proceedings against the respondent

If you experience or witness any sexual harassment, please report immediately to the Committee. All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality and sensitivity.
