About Pharm.D Program
The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) is a prestigious six-year professional doctorate program that trains students to become competent clinical pharmacists equipped to provide patient-centred pharmaceutical care. At SBS College of Pharmacy, the Pharm.D program bridges the gap between pharmaceutical science and direct patient care, producing highly skilled professionals for modern healthcare.
Our Pharm.D program integrates in-depth pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacy practice, and hospital-based training. The curriculum is designed as per PCI guidelines and MRSPTU regulations, with a strong emphasis on clinical rotations, disease management, and rational drug use — equipping graduates to work alongside physicians in hospitals and healthcare settings.
The program includes five years of academic study and one year of compulsory residency/internship in a hospital, ensuring graduates are practice-ready and capable of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.

Eligibility & Duration
Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks, as per PCI and university norms. D.Pharm holders may also be eligible for lateral entry as per regulations.
Program Duration
6 Years (5 years of academic study + 1 year compulsory hospital residency/internship) with an annual intake of 30 students.
